When it comes to listing their home, most home sellers want three things: 1) to make the most money possible, 2) to put in minimal time and effort, and 3) to sell quickly. But the reality is, selling a home is rarely that simple. And homeowners who try to do it themselves, or receive bad advice, can end up stuck (months later) with a property that hasn’t sold.

You Need a Champion

championThe Super Bowl and World Series determine the football and baseball champions. Since there can only be one champion, the other team loses the competition. In feudal times, a knight might champion for the king or a patriotic, romantic or religious cause.

Fierce competition can occur when buying or selling a home because each party wants to get the best deal possible. When the buyer and seller are not be equally matched, and they rarely are, it is important to have a champion on your side to fight for your cause.

New Year's Resolutions sticky postAfter spending the holidays with family and friends, this is a time of the year to start thinking about changes to make in our lives, both personal and in business. I wanted to share one of mine with you.
