Summer’s here in San Diego gardens. This is still a good time to plant subtropicals, summer annuals and your last round of warm season vegetables, but hold off putting most plants in the ground until fall when temperatures drop.
Spring is coming to San Diego gardens! Next to fall, this is the best time for planting. It’s also a good time to sow herb, annual and vegetable seeds, and to fertilize your awakening plants.
While we pray for rain in our San Diego gardens this month, continue to add cool-season annuals and vegetables, plant native wildflowers, and pull those pesky weeds.
