Día de los Muertos
November 1
6:00 PM
Location: Escondido, 340 N. Escondido Blvd.
Come and celebrate el Día de los Muertos with art, ballet folklórico and more! This year we celebrate our 21st annual Festival, and it is going to be better than ever. As always, attendees will be able to create altars to remember lost loved ones in a special area created by artist Eloy Tarcisio. We will also have live music by Cumbia Machin, Mariachi Divinas, and Ritmos del Tiempo. For the children, we will have face painting, arts & crafts, and more. Food and handmade goods will be available for purchase.
The festival begins at 6:00 pm and is free and open to the public. Altar space will not be available until 6:00 pm, but early arrival is strongly recommended. Guests will not need a ticket to enjoy the festival.

Prices in San Diego County and in North County did not change compared to the previous month, but did go up substantially over the last year. Inventory, which should be growing this time of year, is continuing to decrease.
North County and San Diego County Events – October 2016 are tons of fun, especially if you’re a kid! There are haunted houses, candy and more candy, and a month of free museum, zoo and Safari Park admissions. There’s no shortage of adult entertainment either with festivals, concerts, shows and lots of food. Of course, we have bike rides and runs to help burn off all that great food and drink.
The smart home is the new internet of things. It’s full of objects that can serve you better by communicating with each other or directly with you through apps on your smart phone. In the ideal version of the wired future, all of our appliances and gadgets will talk to each other seamlessly.
North County and San Diego County Events – September 2016 include something for everyone. There’s plenty to see like the Miramar Air Show, a rodeo, a powwow, and music, Greek, and art festivals. There’s plenty to do with runs, bike tours, and swims. And if all that activity leaves you hungry and thirsty, no problem. September offers great food and drink too.
The market slowed down in July with fewer pending and closed sales compared to June. But because there were also fewer new listings, inventory stayed at a very low 2.4 months’ supply countywide.
Romantic lighting can really add drama and whimsy to an otherwise dull outdoor space. Try stringing lights over a patio for a look that recalls street cafes and romantic restaurant patios.
North County and San Diego County Events – August 2016 certainly feel like summer. There are so many outdoor activities — concerts, movies, star gazing, sailing, surfing, horse racing, car shows, even a street fair for dogs! If you’re looking to beat the heat, no worries. There’s plenty to do indoors too!
