North County and San Diego Events for November
North County and San Diego events in November remind us why living in San Diego is so great!
November starts with a Dia de los Muertos festival, and brings many other fun events including Fleet Week, Beer Week, the Carlsbad Village Faire and racing at Del Mar. There are several Veterans Day celebrations and turkey trots along with a fun hike and bike ride. We end the month with seasonal celebrations including hayrides, a Christmas tree lighting and a holiday street fair.

Escondido Día de los Muertos Festival
Nov. 1
An opportunity to gather together as a community to honor and remember our loved ones who are no longer with us. The celebration will include live music, performances by Ballet Folklorico and Aztec Dance, food trucks, a vendor market, a Catrina contest, family-friendly crafts, a lowrider car show, a Frida Kahlo museum exhibition, face painting and so much more! The Center will stay true to tradition and have altars outside the Museum for anyone to use.

San Diego Asian Film Festival
Nov. 2-11
The San Diego Asian Film Festival (SDAFF) is San Diego’s premier film showcase of Asian American and international cinema. Founded in 2000, the festival has grown to become the largest exhibition of Asian cinema in the western United States. Each year, the festival brings West Coast, North American, and world premieres of films from around the world to San Diego and gives audiences unique opportunities to discover international cinema. This year, the 24th edition of SDAFF will showcase over 160 films.
