Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 La Jolla Symphony & Chorus  Dec 12 – 14

California Ballet’s The Nutcracker   Dec 13 – 21

Jungle Bells at the San Diego Zoo  Dec 13 – Jan 4

Chanukah Menorah Lighting Ceremony  Dec 20, 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Chanukah Menorah Lighting Ceremony The Tabacinic Chabad Jewish Center of Oceanside/Vista is hosting the annual Chanukah Menorah Lighting Ceremony at the Oceanside Civic Center Plaza. The ceremony will include a lighting of a 15 foot menorah along with local Dignitaries. Guests will also enjoy hot latkes and hot coco, music, Chanukah songs and more!

Yalda Celebration  Dec 20

The Persian Cultural Center celebrates the winder solstice with dinner, folkloric dance, poem recital and a DJ.

Ponsettia Bowl Gaslamp March  Dec 21

2014 Port of San Diego Big Bay Balloon Parade   Dec 26

Downtown San Diego comes alive as over 100,000 spectators enjoy this colorful, nationally televised, holiday parade with colorful floats, unique drill teams, heart-pounding marching bands and a procession of massive inflatables.

National University Holiday Bowl  Dec 27
Region: Mission Valley and Old Town
Teams from the Pac-12 conference and the Big 12 conference will square off in the annual National University Holiday Bowl.
